John Paul Salinas June 22 Say CheeseI have to say that I love Photography in its purest form. I love to capture the simplicity of a gesture, capture the depths of a person's eyes, and see how far deep into their soul I can photograph. To me, Photography is like poetry, the photograph must be fluid and flow so perfectly in harmony, and capture one's imagination, and produce a story that can go on and on each time you look at it, and then finally bring you to that moment, captured in time. How I could photograph a person time and time again is for the beauty they portray through each smile, wrinkle on their face, each gesture unpracticed, but so perfect, every graceful movement like it was meant to be and for me to stop motion, the perfect shot of emotion that is produced by the human body, Amazing!
My other passion is to capture the beauty of nature that one misses because they're either sleeping through a sunrise, or are indoors during a sunset, or when the rain is falling on a rose petal, and how the tear shaped rain clings to the petal, or how a butterfly glides through the air in search of a flower to rest its wings, or the blue ocean sky that carries soft cotton clouds that form into a masterpiece. Life is beautiful as God made it out to be with just one breath.
